Logo of CVISE - CardioVascular Research Innovation in Surgery and Engineering Center

Our mission is to better prepare future surgeons and engineers for the challenges and opportunities in cardiovascular research. The CVISE T32 training program aims to synergize the training of postdoctoral surgeon-scientists and pre-doctoral graduate engineering students to focus on key modern topics spanning the field of cardiovascular disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Through this program, trainees will acquire the skill sets necessary to transition to independent investigators who are capable of collaboratively investigating cardiovascular disease and develop innovations that will have a lasting impact on healthcare and society.
